Afternoon walk in the wood
The picture was taken during a walk in Mallings Kløft (Mallings Gorge), Stensby, Denmark.
The atmosphere was almost magical, with the light creating a harmonious contrast between the different layers. My girlfriend and I spent a couple of minutes observing the couple calmly walking and the dog playfully toying around.
Post processing notes:
I lifted a bit the shadows, softened the branch in the first layer and applied a little of glow, trying to keep it as natural as possible. Minor correction in the exposure and saturation of the fog in the background, which now looks almost exactly how it looked when I took the picture.Exif information:
