The Sliver of Light
This is an image of a church steeple photographed in Old Town Fredericksburg, Virginia in midday sunlight. It was captured with a Sony a6700 and a 24-70mm with the following camera settings: 1/640th, f/5.6, 100 ISO.
Post processing notes:
This image was shot in color and converted to black and white in ON1 Photo RAW 2026. Using local adjustments I created the pockets of light to give the image a fine art fill. There is also a gradient of light built in the background using local adjustments and a background mask.Exif information:
