Has this ever happened to you? You’re in great location, you have a great subject, and you think you got the shot. But when you get home, you realize that your exposure is not as good as you hoped it would be.
It is unfortunate that we can’t always have the most abundant skies when we are out and about. My wife always says, “It’s a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky!” I can’t stand it, as a landscape photographer we need those puffy softboxes to drown out shadows and add interest to that big blue blob of negative space.
