Hey everyone. In this last “Back To Basics” themed video, I wanted to help out some one who’s just starting out with photo editing. ON1 has a lot of powerful tools and if you try to use all of them at once, you probably won’t get very far. Not to mention, what do you do when there’s adjustments that seem to be in multiple places? That’s exactly what we’ll cover in this video.
Happy holidays everyone. In this short video I quickly go through basic settings for both Photo RAW 2018 and your camera in different capture situations. First I talk about how to set up the camera differently depending on whether you are out to capture a landscape on your tripod or working with moving subjects and changing light conditions. Next I go into some of the basic preferences, settings and customization that I think you should consider using in Photo RAW 2018 before you even start editing an image.
Well folks, this is probably the last video you thought you’d see from me today. It has virtually nothing to do with my pushing around sliders and teaching you fancy new editing techniques. But if you’re just starting out, or you’re even more advanced and having trouble figuring out what to do with your photos, I’m hoping it helps. Enjoy!
This month we’re going to go back to the basics. There’s a lot of advanced folks here, and plenty of new coaching material planned for 2018 that’s pushing the envelop. But the more time I spend online and out there teaching, the more I realize there’s some people that haven’t even taken photos off of their memory cards yet because they’re afraid of what will happen.
