Ronan barn

While visiting friends in Montana in 2022, they told me a local barn was probably one of the most photographed barns in Montana. While I’ve seen a few great barn photos from Montana, I couldn’t recall seeing this barn. So I waited until sunset (which in the summertime is pretty late at night!) and managed to catch it right in the golden light, with a bit of snow still on McDonald Peak. My friends said it was one of the best photos they’d seen of the barn, and it did turn out pretty good, one of my better efforts.

Post processing notes:

This one was pretty good as it was, but there were a few things that needed a little work...the foothills were pretty dull and needed a little improvement in ON1 Photo Raw, and then a little clarity and contrast to the sky and mountains. Color was still a little dull on the field and barn, so also improved that with the same.
