Layers implementation in PR 2019

Please implement these missing tools & functionality: start a new blank layer, trim, increase canvas size, add a color fill layer.

These were all available in PR 2018.

I would also like to have a color fill layer. I can use work-arounds, but a button would make it easier.

Working with colorizing B&W, so a vote for color fill layers like what 2018 was able to do. Why have a upgrade and drop that????

A vote for being able to increase the canvas size, or possibly create a new blank image where you can set the dimensions. This would be useful for creating a sheet with multiple images on it.

Adjusting canvas size, creating new blank images…pretty basic options for editing software. Please include or I’ll just go back to 2018.What happened to “save” and “save as” in the file many?

Those of you above may be interested in the comment I posted above in the previous Color Fill request….
ON1 would be able to do this sort of thing using a color fill layer and a couple of small changes to the color picker which is awesome www.youtube.com/watch…ploademail

Yes, I agree with all the above. I use the ‘new blank layer’ function when building montages etc. as it is so much easier. Also if making a photo book you can size it to suit the page size.

The ability to resize a canvas on any given side to allow cloning or fill would be really useful

Also being able to flatten a stack of layers would be helpful to keep file sizes down.

I thought for certain I’d be able to create a blank layer to simply present two photos side by side in On1 Photo Raw. I am blown away that I can’t at this time. This is a basic function!

In 2019.5 we added new blank canvas as well as canvas size. We are still considering the future of the Trim tool and Color Fill layers.
