A Start-to-Finish Edit with Matt Kloskowski

Posted in , , , ,

See how I edited this photo start-to-finish using ON1 Photo RAW 2017. I’ll start in Develop to adjust certain settings, uses local adjustments (because I love them), and then I jump into Effects to finish off and style this photo.

Really enjoyed it Matt. Thanks, useful to see how to use the tools that are there in a practical sense.

Thanks for the great Tutorial. Wouldn’t it be better to start by applying ‘Effects’ and then adjust settings to desired levels?

Hi Marc, Please clarify “large screen.” I am using a 27 inch Apple Monitor with a 15 inch macbook pro and I am not sure why a large screen is a problem. I have been using Nicole’s masking video, right next to On1 raw on the same screen at the same time.

Now that I have learned about nearly every component of every module, this end-to-end tutorial was extremely useful. Especially because I shoot mostly landscapes, and nature photos. So thank you Matt, this was valuable. I look forward to more.

Thanks! I really appreciate it when you actually demo your work flow rather than the separate features.
Question; It there a spot reveal option somewhere like in LR?
PS – You probably need to return that tee shirt to your child’s closet.
