5 Myths About ON1 360 – All BUSTED!

We’ve seen some incredible excitement from customers about ON1 360. We’ve also some read some pretty off-the-wall comments which are not true. We are taking a moment to dispel the five most common myths about our newest product offering — ON1 360.

Myth: It requires you to keep your photos in the cloud
Fact: Your original photo files stay put, right where you choose to keep them. Your original photos can live on any of your devices, including external hard drives and file servers. You can choose to upload copies of your original photos to ON1 360 as well if you need to access the original file remotely, but it DOES NOT require you to upload your photos and keep them in the cloud. Myth: There is no benefit if you are not using mobile devices with your photography
Fact: ON1 360 will ensure your photos are updated and synchronized between any of your computers as well. This is a huge benefit even if you don’t use a mobile device for your photography. Your files will be organized and instantly accessible from anywhere on any of your computers.

Myth: It’s more expensive than other offerings
Fact: Starting plans for ON1 360 come out to be about 10x the storage for around $30 less than other competitive starting plans. You will always have the choice to purchase the perpetual license for the desktop software, ON1 Photo RAW. View 360 plans

Myth: ON1 360 replaces ON1 Photo RAW, and Photo RAW will no longer be updated
Fact: ON1 360 is what connects ON1 Photo RAW across computers and devices. Without ON1 Photo RAW, ON1 360 would not exist. We need to keep developing ON1 Photo RAW in order to continue offering the great benefits to using ON1 software.

Myth: ON1 is switching to subscriptions and no longer offering perpetual licenses
Fact: ON1 Photo RAW 2020.5 is still available to purchase as a perpetual software license, and we plan on continuing to offer perpetual software licenses for future versions of ON1 Photo RAW.
