New Support for .abr Brush Files

Custom brush shapes were first made available in Photo RAW 2021. Now with the latest update, version 2021.1, we’ve added support for .abr files. Most brushes found online use this file format, and it allows customers to import an entire category of creative brush shapes in one step.
ON1 Photo RAW is available to purchase as a perpetual license or a subscription starting as low as $7.99 per month.

It was refreshing to see you again, Dan – presenting a video. I always like how you present a recording. This is only my opinion and certainly no disrespect to other presenters at ON1- you’re all-inclusive.

So you are now a SaaS product after all the push about replacing Lightroom because it was? You guys confuse and concern me more every day. So about .abr is there any reason to use them rather than the previous way to install brushes?

How so? We still offer and always will offer a perpetual license for our software. ON1 Photo RAW is still our main focus, we are expanding to plugins for those who dont want to replace their main editor (Lightroom, Capture One, etc). .abr is a file format that is widely used for brush packs vs. the previous method. Feel free to continue using the old method though if you wish.
