Sneak Peek – Avoid Importing Duplicates

A new enhancement for importing photos is coming in the next free update to Photo RAW 2021. When you are importing photos from a memory card, camera, or phone you can easily identify which photos have not been imported into Photo RAW. This way, you will no longer have duplicate photos when importing. Look for this new enhancement and more coming to Photo RAW 2021.

ON1 Photo RAW 2021 is available as either a perpetual license or subscription. Your choice!

    Thanks, that’s what we need.
We also need sorting after date, so far the only sorting is alphabetic and that’s useless when you import from the iPhone

This is a feature I would use a lot. I am excited for this feature to come out.

If on import, I have renamed photos, will ON1 recognize that the original raw from the card, ( _DSC6309.nef) is the same as the renamed, (ie. 20210101_DSC6309.nef) previously imported photo?

Yes, it keeps track of the original filename, not what you rename it to. Keep in mind we can only identify stuff you download via the Import dialog after installing the update, ie we can’t check previous imports.
