There have been a number of questions in the Plus Community Discussion Forum this winter that relate to monitor calibration. For those of us who like to print, having your monitor calibrated for color and brightness is absolutely key to getting prints that look like your edited image on screen. In this video I’ll explain why and show you how I calibrate my monitors. Below the break are some links to the tools I use in this video below the break as well as some links to learn more and test your monitor’s performance without hardware.

Hey everyone. In this last “Back To Basics” themed video, I wanted to help out some one who’s just starting out with photo editing. ON1 has a lot of powerful tools and if you try to use all of them at once, you probably won’t get very far. Not to mention, what do you do when there’s adjustments that seem to be in multiple places? That’s exactly what we’ll cover in this video.

This month we’re going to go back to the basics. There’s a lot of advanced folks here, and plenty of new coaching material planned for 2018 that’s pushing the envelop. But the more time I spend online and out there teaching, the more I realize there’s some people that haven’t even taken photos off of their memory cards yet because they’re afraid of what will happen.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Here’s another tip video I’m sharing with the Plus community. In this video, I’m going to have you rethink how you use your tripod to compose in the field and then I’ll show you one of my favorite new tools that takes almost no space in my camera bag. My goal for these tip videos is to help you keep a structured workflow in mind, both in the field capturing images, as well as later in your editing work.

Back by popular demand, here’s the first Your Photo. Our Look video using the all new Photo Raw 2018. We asked the On1 Plus community to send us their images to edit as if they were ours. It wasn’t easy to choose from all the amazing images, but these three caught my eye and I had a blast using Photo Raw 2018 exclusively to do the work.
