I find most of the Ocudrone skies are too dramatic. They steal the show from the rest of the photo. When I have a sky that is too plain, I generally go for a replacement sky that is more simple – often with just some whispy clouds that take away from the sky being totally blank, but are not drawing the viewer’s attention away from the rest of the scene.

I totally agree. More simple skies are needed. After all, you took the picture for the main subject. You don’t want to distract from that.

I agree 100%. Any and all sky replacements I use (and it seems for some reason many of my phots have plain blue skies) I tone down considerably. Like you point out, you want the photo to be interesting 9including the sky) but don’t want the sky to dominate.

I like the skies but, some are very unique and can only be used on specific scenarios. They are still beautiful to look at.
