Soft Proofing is a new feature in ON1 Photo RAW 2018.1 – coming soon. Soft proofing is the ability to view a simulation of how your image will look when printed based on specific printer and paper profiles. This new feature coming to ON1 Photo RAW 2018.1 will allow you to simulate what your photos look like when they are printed on certain types of paper.

If you want to get really accurate prints, calibrating your monitor is critical. Without a well calibrated monitor, it’s tough to know if you are viewing accurate tones and colors as you edit and softproof your images.
