Holiday’s are always a great form of inspiration. It gives everyone a good excuse to take photos inspired by the holiday. I really enjoy Red, White and Blue themed photos both at my studio as well as photographing my own family. The fun color palate really inspires me, especially when I add in a couple cute kids.
One of my favorite things about celebrating the 4th of July is watching the spectacular fireworks show that the city of Portland puts on. In this video, I’m going to show you how easy it is to combine the best fireworks explosions into a single photo using ON1 Photo RAW 2017.5. The result will be a memorable medley of light and color that you’ll want to share with family and friends.

Every year I take some time to look at my portfolio from the years passed. I look at how I post-processed my images back then and see if I have improved. Most of the time, I can say my process and style has changed for the better, but when I want a real confidence booster, I go way back!
It’s been such a blast this month having Liz guest coaching and sharing her techniques and tips for studio and portrait work. Since she shared the gear she likes to use as well as how to approach using artificial light in her work. ON1 Photo RAW 2017 makes photo editing fast and easy. I concentrate on three things when editing photos: Tone, Color and Style. In this ON1 Short Clip, I use the speed of the Develop module and the flexibility of Local Adjustments to quickly process and style a final image. It’s as easy as 1-2-3.

Having a smooth workflow can have a huge impact on the time you spend in post-production. In this video, I want to share my personal workflow for Bliss Studio. I have found faster ways to cull through my images and get them prepped for clients to view. I’ll take you from the beginning of the process, through adding presets, all the way to exporting them out for both web and final prints. It is always good to find ways to improve your workflow as even small changes can have the impact you need.
