ON1 Sync Sneak Peek
I’m excited to present a tour of the new ON1 Sync service. ON1 Sync will allow you to view, change metadata, and edit your photos no matter what device they are on. It’s like having all of your photos in the cloud without having to store them in the cloud. You control where you store your photos with ON1 Sync. When combined with the upcoming ON1 Photo Mobile and ON1 Photo RAW, photographers will have an all-new ON1 photography ecosystem to enjoy.

This uses third party cloud storage but as in previous iteration. Only DropBox and Google are supported if I recall. This excludes many users.

This will also offer our own ON1 storage. Details coming soon!

Can’t think it thru properly yet, so here’s the questions:
1) Could the functionality be used by several ppl, cooperating upon the project? I mean – my wife takes photos, I might do some sorting, keywording into categories, starring, etc. maybe just basic tonality touches, and she does the effects things?
2) Will versioning work? E.g. my wife asks me to do 10-15 BW variants for her client. Will versioning the photo sync too?
3) Am I right that it basically replaces the need to have NAS at home (or a studio) and using a shared folder on the filesystem level?
Thanks a lot,
