I am beginning to need a short video on how to manage all of the great presets that On1 has given me through the years ……. I could spend hours just reviewing the presets.

Although I don’t use ON1 too much because of my work, I enjoy the many alternatives that photomorphis has given to my photographs.
People ask me “why don’t you do these photos in a profesional level”. they turn out so great.

I was wondering if all of the OnOne 10 presets will also work in the new OnOne Raw. Can I just copy the folder containing them and move it to the OnOne Raw folder structure when it is released? Or is there someplace we can download all of the Loyalty Rewards we have already gotten to use with Raw? Or will they not work?

The presets will automatically load in RAW if you have Photo 10 installed on the same computer.

I just upgraded to OnOne Raw and I removed OnOne 10 from my application folder. Did I remove all of the presets I’ve been collecting? I see from your comment, that OnOne 10 is should remain on my computer if I want the presets to automatically load onto OnOne Raw. I have my OnOne 10 serial number so can I just put it back onto my computer? Have I lost the previous presets? Can I download them again?
        Thanks for your time.

As we launch ON1 RAW soon (next week) is the transfer of ON1 Photo 10 “Presets”… automatically addressed or is there something we need to do on our side? Thx.

It will be automatically addressed if you have Photo 10 installed on the same computer you are installing Photo RAW onto.

    Hi Patrick, can you confirm
    (a) what will happen if you *don’t* have ON1 Photo 10 installed (but *did* have before uninstalling it, and have the loyalty downloads locally on your disk) – can you install them directly into Photo RAW then ?
    (b) If above doesn’t work , would it work if you also have ON1 Photo 10 installed, but didn’t have the presets actually installed in it at the time of installing ON1 Photo RAW ?
.. ie. would installing in to Photo RAW work purely because of the presence of ON1 Photo 10 ?
    Aidan.

      Hi Aidan,
      a) If you have the loyalty rewards (.ONPreset files) you will be able to install those right into ON1 Photo RAW just as you did ON1 Photo 10. I would instead recommend backing up the preset library, that would save the entire library folder for you. When RAW is installed, you will just need to move those files into the same location. Steps located here for this: https://on1help.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205511528
      b) You would need the presets inside of ON1 Photo 10 for them to auto-migrate into ON1 Photo RAW when installing. Otherwise, you will have to reinstall each pack individually or follow the preset library backup steps as above. That’s definitely the best route I’d recommend, at least from a safety perspective so you don’t lose anything in your preset library ever.
As you mentioned though, if you have no ON1 Photo 10 but still have the .ONPreset file, it should install no problem into ON1 Photo RAW just as it did into ON1 Photo 10!

I installed the free sample pack but not sure where to find it or how to use it….is there a video coming out? The SW said it installed correctly but I don’t see them. Can’t wait to use them!

The 2 Preset Packs in the sample pack will appear in the Effects module with an image open. Make sure you are clicking on ‘presets’ at the top left while you are in the Effects module, rather than ‘filters’. Look for “Photomorphis Window to the West” and “Photomorphis Secret Sauce” under presets.
The backgrounds will appear in Layers > Extras > My Extras > Backgrounds. Here is a support article that might help you for the backgrounds: https://on1help.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/218926458

maybe On1 could provide a link with all the presets they have made and will work in one zip file for us as a incentive to keep waiting for the update, third time now.. I went ahead and purchased Lightroom, you made an obligation that you could not keep up with, I understand, but just come out and tell us, and this pre-release, it’s crashing my computer, by the time your done with all the separate update releases, you will want an update charge.
