So we talked about the Science behind Luminosity Masks last week.  While I love that stuff (the inner number nerd in me) you may have found it to be a little underwhelming because we were working on a Test Image.

This week we are going to take the principles of last week and apply them to masks on landscape images.  I am going to show you three specific examples of how Luminosity Masks can be used to either protect or select certain areas in your photo.   I think some people believe Luminosity Masking is an “every once in a while thing”.  However, after this lesson, I am pretty sure you will be right there with me and use them on every photo you edit!
