Thanks for the tutorial. Some good lessons on how to tame the mask so it is not obvious it is there, especially at the edges.

Thank you so much for making this tutorial. It’s so refreshing to think about the “Why?” before diving into the “How?”
I like the way Scott explains what he wants to achieve, and then might try a few different options to achieve it. Also, I can’t tell you how great it is to hear someone advocating the “If it looks good, it is good” mentality. Agonising over technique is mind numbing!

I found this to be extremely helpful because it diverges from the stereotypical “press this, move that, slide it to the left”, while emphasizing the value of thinking through what you want done with your composition and why you want to look that way.
