Advanced perspective correction (as in LR CC)

Adobe just added advanced perspective correction in their Lightroom CC release.  This lets me work with perspective-challenged photos without dealing with tilt/shift lens.  Although PS could do this for awhile, the new LR capability makes my life a lot easier.

We know that ON1 Photo Raw will have a transform tool that can be used for pespective control, and I agree that lightroom 5 set the standard for this and I just hope that On1 will match it or beat it.

I think today a powerful perspective corrector is absolutely necessary. Personally, I could not leave without it and this feature (its presence as well as its usability) will be a key element for my decision to switch from LR to ON1. I look forward to being reassured :-)

There will basic perspective correction tools in the fall, with more to come in the future.

I hope it will become as good as the latest Lr version, which is terrific and easy to use – even for the inexperienced.

I’d be happy if Dx0 might be used as a plug in, since its perspective correction is excellent.

I second that. Viewpoint is first class.

I often use LR perspective correction .It is one of the things that was missing in ON1.

Agreed. I shoot a lot of architecture and, though some might call this an artist preference, the tools in Lightroom and Adobe Raw allowing me to create guides for perspective correction is absolute necessity for me.

Please also include an optional grid superimposed over the photo to assist in manual correction.

Totally agree with the two comments about supporting DxO Viewpoint or developing something similar to their 8 point tool. Viewpoint is awesome for perspective corrections.

I hope the developers look at Viewpoint and not just LR for inspiration.

I’m hoping that this would be part of a future ON1 RAW 2018 update. I consider this a very essential tool for a photo editing software and especially for one that challenges Lightroom as a stand-alone photo management and editing solution.

As was aforementioned a grid overlay should be the minimum. Currently it’s hard to have any reference as to how the perspective in the photo lines up horizontally or vertically.

I’ve used Capture One perspective tool and really would like to see that level of control in ON1. Much better than basic lens correction or “leveling” tool and simple to use.

have read several comments regarding the construction perspective and suggested DxO ViewPoint suggestion.
I personally use isw DxO for several years but they are not simple plugins but complete software
with relatively high cost, as I put them in ON1 photo raw I do not believe it possible.
this is an answer for Brad Glass, Hans etc. that referred to DxO

This is really a feature i like to see in ON1 2019. I am using it frequently in LR, when i am correcting shoots from buildings etc.
