It’s an exciting time in the Henry household! Those of you who’ve been around Plus from the outset might remember that my wife Stacey and I had a little boy we named Pike Henry the winter before last. Well after an amazing first year and a half, Pike is about to have a baby sister literally any second. If I disappear for a few days from the forums or am slow to respond to emails, you know what’s up.
We’ll start this month of portrait and studio photography with an introduction to working with people and pets. In this video I will cover the basic concepts and nuances involved with shooting these subjects. If you have any questions about this presentation please leave a comment!
Hi Plus Members, I am SO excited to finally be coaching for ON1! My name is Liz and you may recognize me from some of ON1’s training materials; I’ve been working with them for over 5 years now. I’m thrilled to be focusing on portrait and studio photography this month! It’s a topic I’m both passionate about and well-versed in – 90% of my photography work is portraiture in some form.

Wow, Colby and I had a tough job choosing the winners for this month’s Storytelling Photo Challenge. What a great bunch of submissions. Seriously! In this video Colby and I choose the cash prize winners. Huge congratulations to James and Kathy. For those new to Plus, each month Plus members have the opportunity to submit a photo for critique. Every photo submitted gets critiqued by one of the ON1 coaches. It’s great perk for our Plus members! Critiques are a great learning exercise and way to continuously improve your photography. The coaches give their professional constructive critique in a positive manner.
