In this next part of my creativity presentation, I will discuss some of the methods I use to bring all the elements of an idea together in order to maximize the creative potential of that idea, in other words, to facilitate the synthesis of that idea.

I’ve found that to create art, it’s crucial to create a system which makes it easy to gather together all of my thoughts, both notes and sketches, in one place allowing me to begin the process of honing and refining the idea into actionable steps. We are exposed to so much visual stimulation and information in this day and age it can be overwhelming, and ideas can easily get lost in the chaos. Perhaps some of the ideas I present will help you conquer the chaos and streamline your creative process.
When it’s time to begin putting your ideas into action, the successful creation of your image from your idea, in large part, relies on good planning. I’ll share some of the resources and methods I use when I’m planning a shoot that I hope will be beneficial for you as well.
This video stresses the importance of planning for success and provides some insight into my own processes that I hope can help you have more success with your own creative projects!
