Margerie Glacier (panorama)
This image of Margerie Glacier is a panorama created in ON1 using 14 handheld photos taken from a cruise ship in Glacier Bay National Park on May 7, 2025. I had also taken several shots with a wide-angle lens but wanted to compare the results with a series captured at 500mm. ON1 made stitching the panorama incredibly easy, and the level of detail in the final image far surpassed what I captured with the wide-angle lens.
Post processing notes:
All editing was done with ON1 Photo Raw 2025. With over 1200 images from the day in Glacier Bay National Park, I used ON1 to identify about 80 images as potential images for a memory book I am creating from this trip. For this specific image, I started by creating the pano of 14 images. I then used a small amount of Brilliance AI, HDR look, tone enhancements for both contrast and clarity, and a minor curve adjustment.Exif information:
