Light at the End of the Tunnel
While walking around town I was attracted to the way the leafless foliage formed a tunnel as the tracks disappeared into the brightness in the distance. The finished photo is a 16X9 landscape crop from the original portrait shot. Photo was taken with a 64 year old Minolta 35mm f2.8 lens on a Canon R10. Shot at ISO 200, f8.0, 1/80 second in March of 2024.
Post processing notes:
Brilliance AI to perform basic adjustments. Dynamic Contrast applied only to the foliage to enhance detail. Color Enhancer to destaturate a patch of green grass that stood out like a sore thumb. LUT - color pop/plastic punch enhanced the warmness Vignette - big softy Curves to remove complete black from the foliage. Darken adjustment masked to keep the tracks bright while darkening the foliage and stones.Exif information:
