Celebrating Cap Go Meh

The Photo is taken in February 2025 in Singkawang City, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Cap Gomeh Is a festival that celebrate 15 days after Lunar New Year, marking the end of the Chinese New Year and the first full moon of the Lunar Calendar.
The celebration is famous for its Tatung parade (people believed to be possessed by spirits), a lively Lantern Parade, Dragon and Barongsai parades, and various cultural and culinary attractions. The most proud of this celebration reflects harmony and tolerance between various ethnicities, cultures, and religions in Singkawang, including the Chinese, Dayak, and Malay communities.
