About the ON1 Photo RAW Project

The ON1 Photo RAW Project gives you the chance to be a part of what we're developing at ON1. You have a voice in the future of photo editing. Your ideas will help us deliver the best available apps for photography, give us insight into what's most important, and help spark innovation.

You must log in to submit an idea.

Share Your Ideas

Share your ideas for new Photo RAW features. Make sure you write a convincing description. Remember, people won't be able to give an idea a high rating unless they understand the idea completely.

Tell Your Friends

With supporters, your ideas will get higher ratings. In fact, tell everyone you know to support your idea. The more ratings an idea gets, the more likely it will be sent to our product development team.

ON1 Will Review It

After an idea reaches 200 ratings with a 3-star or higher rating, the project team will review the details and begin asking questions. We can't put every good idea into development, but we'll try!

I’m currently evaluating ON1 RAW 2019 in comparison to Capture One to use with Affinity Photo.  I notice that you only support Canon and Nikon for tethering.  I would love to have access to this feature but I’m a Panasonic Lumix user. Panasonic has a tethering software but it only works with their G9, GH5,...

Having recently migrated from Capture One I was a bit surprised to find Sony cameras missing from the tethered camera(s) list. I shoot tethered a lot and have to go back to Capture One to shoot tethered however I really hope Sony cameras are added in an upcoming release of ON1.

I would really appreciate tethered shooting support for Fuji camera’s
The new tethering feature is useless as it is today. – It’s too slow. In fact it’s slower than Lightroom, which is saying a lot – It needs to be better than what the manufacturer provides, to be interesting for photographer. As it is now, it’s not as fast as the Canon EOS Utility, and...

hello thank you for improving on1 by adding tethered shooting. It would be good, unless I missed it to have the image come up before shooting. I use digicam control which is a free programme and works perfectly. Thank you for ever progressing on1. I find I use it more. I also use Blake Rudis...
Adding iPad for this great feature would be great even though editing in iPad may not be available just viewing image and adjusting camera would be great

I would like to see On1 create a wireless tethered shooting module/function. Currently tethered shooting seems to be locked into wired functionality, but we all know wireless is the future in every aspect of tech communication (wireless or bluetooth or whatever protocol is going to replace these). If On1 gets ahead of the curve on...

I just watched your video on tethered shooting and was disappointed that it was only for Nikon/Canon camera bodies. While I do use and shoot with Nikon gear (since the first “F”), I also shoot with Leica digital “M” bodies, Fuji, Panasonic, and many more cameras. I currently favor the Fuji X-Pr02 and find ON1’s...

Therthered shooting with ON1 sounds great, until I got to the “Nikon and Canon only” part—wham, another pie in the face for us Sony shooters. There are way too many examples of this exclusion already involving third party lenses, and various worthwhile accessories (CamRanger comes to mind). Especially with Sony practically creating the whole high-end...

I’ve used mostly Pentax for almost 40 years. Please add tethered shooting/import for Pentax, expecially the K3. The program has been getting better and better, and is now almost ready to replace 95% of my Photoshop usage…Hoo-ray!

Hello Would it be a great deal to make tethered shooting possible with Olympus cameras? Regards Jürgen

With the forthcoming addition of Tethering to PR2018.1, could we have the facility to tether to tablets such as iPad. Many of us have desktop PCs and cannot enjoy the benefits of Tethering for the majority of our shots. A view of the shot just taken would be a good start with additionalfeatures coming along...
