A new local adjustment feature is just for noise. This allows you to decrease or increase noise locally which also allows you to selectively control the amount of noise in certain areas of your photo.

What an excellent idea. But, one question, when did the ‘ON1 software development team’ find time to create all of this new stuff ? Because it strikes me that Autumn 2016 to Summer 2017 has already been a very busy time for ON1.

Is this luminance or chroma noise or both? Is this really NR or merely painting with blur? Anyhow it’s a great idea and the more adjustments one can apply locally, the better. Now, let’s combine it with a real print engine and soft proofing with non-destructive adjustments, and I’ll be reaaaaaallllly happy (and won’t sound like a broken record)!
