The idea for 10 Common Photography Mistakes came to me one night as I was having dinner with some photographer friends. We were discussing how we all see so many of the same photography mistakes day in and day out whether it be on Facebook, Google+, photography websites and even galleries and art shows. We weren’t having this conversation from up on high, looking down our noses at these photographers, we’ve all made them and many of us still occasionally make them to this day! The problem is that you can’t really point these mistakes out unless the photographer asks for a critique. Nobody likes unsolicited advice. So I let the idea start to develop in my head. I originally sat down and started writing an ebook. I finished the first chapter and started to realize quickly that an ebook wasn’t the right way to go. There is simply too much information involved in each of these mistakes. Some of them are very simple, while others are more advanced and in-depth. So after a while I finally decided to make it a video course. 10 videos, each one going over a common photography mistake. I also decided to go over each mistake and how to fix it in both Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. A lot of photographers have both of these programs, while others have just one of the other. I’ve gotten a lot of great feedback on this product and a lot of people have been excited about it’s release. The most excited being me. It’s been a long road getting this product ready and I truly believe it will save thousands and thousands of photographers out there a lot of frustration in the future.
