About the ON1 Photo RAW Project

The ON1 Photo RAW Project gives you the chance to be a part of what we're developing at ON1. You have a voice in the future of photo editing. Your ideas will help us deliver the best available apps for photography, give us insight into what's most important, and help spark innovation.

You must log in to submit an idea.

Share Your Ideas

Share your ideas for new Photo RAW features. Make sure you write a convincing description. Remember, people won't be able to give an idea a high rating unless they understand the idea completely.

Tell Your Friends

With supporters, your ideas will get higher ratings. In fact, tell everyone you know to support your idea. The more ratings an idea gets, the more likely it will be sent to our product development team.

ON1 Will Review It

After an idea reaches 200 ratings with a 3-star or higher rating, the project team will review the details and begin asking questions. We can't put every good idea into development, but we'll try!

I think many people use the Samyang lens and believe we needs the profiles in the last version. Yongnuo is in the list and Samyang not, why?

Please include lens correction profiles for Hasselblad HC and HCD lenses. Given Capture 1’s lack of support for medium format cameras other than Phase One the choices for those users, if for instance they were moving away from Lightroom, is limited. So please can you add these lens profiles, Hasselblad in particular, but others as...

I’d like to see the Lens Correction tool available in the plugin version as it is in the stand alone version.  Right now, they are different.

Please provide RAW support  for Canon G9X.  I have to go back to Lightroom, which is not very efficient.

Lightroom is be able to work with an “integrated lens correction profile” attached directly to the RAW file resulting in a very well corrected image. It would be fine to have the same in Photo Raw. The lens correction is not always able to fully correct distortion, specially when wide angle is used to shot....

The currently supported Sony lenses are predominantly E mount lenses; however, many are still using the A mount lenses. Specially now when the a99M2 body is out. Will ON1 add more A mount lens profiles to its library?

Are there any A-mount lens photographers in this forum, please sound your voice. The Sony lens profiles are predominantly E-mount lenses. I´m using a a99M2 body with A-mount lenses, which have yet to added to the library.

When using wide angle lenses for say seascape with the camera close to the surface, the sea surface appears to fall away at the bottom of the frame. A feature to allow an adjustment that eliminates this effect would be very welcome. Group portraits have a similar effect on people at the edge of the...

Many of us shoot legacy lenses used on film cameras or adapt lenses for use on mirrorless systems. Many of these adapter are dumb adapters and therefore metadata about the lens (focal length, max aperture, shooting aperture, etc.) are not transferred to the image. Third party apps like LensTagger allow us to automate writing this...

I love working with older lenses on my MFT camera. Please add the ability to create a collection of lenses in ON1 Photo Raw. When editing a photo, or a batch of photos, allow the user to choose one of these lenses to update the Exif data, identifying lens, focal length used, f-stop used. Lightroom...

To aid removal of lens aberrations ON1 PHOTO RAW users should be encouraged to submit their lens profiles. The User base should be able to feed back on their quality. Those with great feedback should be adopted as the ‘official’ profile and published by ON1 for all to download.

It would be nice have a comparing tools splitting the monitor in 2 parts, with movement sync. Also, would be amazing a sharp test on similar images! It would be useful for AF-micro adjustment test or for testing sweet-spot of our lens.

Lens Correction, Remove Chromatic Aberration and edit the vertical profile. For me to go from LR to ONLY using On1Raw i would like to see these things. I use ultravideangle lenses for my work so, this is a must for me! Lens Correction: The Distortion are important, for quality! Remove Chromatic Aberration: Like it says,...

Since RAW files are not image files and essentially unprocessed when they reach ON1 PHOTO RAW it is essential that effective removal of lens aberrations can take place. I do not know if this exists in ON1 PHOTO RAW but it should if not? Attempting to optimize sharpness without artefacts is nigh on impossible without...

I presently use a RAW processor that automatically corrects lens distortion. The product claims it is constantly being updated based on research of particular lenses at particular focal lengths with particular cameras and, supposedly, makes the necessary corrections to mitigate distortion (the auto correction can be turned off or manually adjusted). The correction is usually...

Having corrective lens distortion profiles and also the ability to correct for perspective distortion in the ON1 RAW would be an extremely useful feature.

Adding support for custom Adobe Camera RAW profiles made with Xrite profiling color checker passport is a feature I would be thrilled to use. I use it for every image put through my current RAW software and it really helps get the most consistent color accurate results from camera to camera, lens to lens, and photo...

Most prime lenses and camera bodies offer no image stabilisation. Given today’s high megapixel count, most photos have some amount of blur caused by camera shake even at relatively high shutter speeds. My suggestion is to create a tool that estimates the movement and deconvolves it in a automatic or semi-automatic way. This tool belongs...

Would be great to be able to have custom sorting of assets for a photo session by any selected EXIF data with the capability for metrics that would allow a user to examine trends in their photographic techniques. Adobe just added advanced perspective correction in their Lightroom CC release.  This lets me work with perspective-challenged photos without dealing with tilt/shift lens.  Although PS could do this for awhile, the new LR capability makes my life a lot easier.

As a Lightroom user the Chromatic Aberration (CA) correction has been quite useful particularly with the number of lenses I use not having profiles for automatice corrections. The LR implementation is one of the reasons I’ve not walked away from the program as this simple interface can make a big improvement in a single click or...
