About the ON1 Photo RAW Project

The ON1 Photo RAW Project gives you the chance to be a part of what we're developing at ON1. You have a voice in the future of photo editing. Your ideas will help us deliver the best available apps for photography, give us insight into what's most important, and help spark innovation.

You must log in to submit an idea.

Share Your Ideas

Share your ideas for new Photo RAW features. Make sure you write a convincing description. Remember, people won't be able to give an idea a high rating unless they understand the idea completely.

Tell Your Friends

With supporters, your ideas will get higher ratings. In fact, tell everyone you know to support your idea. The more ratings an idea gets, the more likely it will be sent to our product development team.

ON1 Will Review It

After an idea reaches 200 ratings with a 3-star or higher rating, the project team will review the details and begin asking questions. We can't put every good idea into development, but we'll try!

I own a DP2 for black and white photos. I really think you should add this and the Quattro Cameras to your tier one supported cameras. My camera takes tack sharp pictures and the black and white is stunning when done right. You would be the first large photo software company to do this and...
Will you add support for the panasonic lumix DMC-LX100 RAW files?
After all the discussion on the speed and everything else associated with Raw processing from ON1 Raw, I was very disappointed to see that the SONY A55V -SLT and the A33-SLT were not in the Raw files supported.

It would be useful to be able to import/view Olympus .ORF (Raw) files.
I own a Canon EOS M5 since 2 weeks. Besides an EOS 5D Mark II and a EOS 7D I am using the new camara for event-shooting. While Adobe supports the M5 within Lightroom the exposures appear in ON1 Photo RAW with a pink shadow in the browser. There is no way to edit the...

As a Fuji X-T2 & iMac user, and to speed development along, how about considering developing an option to switch to support Apple Core image Raw use, very akin to Affinity Photo. That software has the ability to utilise the camera Raw profiles already installed within the Mac software. A great idea if you ask...

Olympus E-1 is still regularly used by a bunch of old-timers loving its color signature. Olympus Studio 1.2 software had the fidelity to reproduce the out-of-camera JPGs from the E-1, it also had a great tone mapping operator from Apical but had a lot to be desired in terms of workflow and new functionalities. It...

I note from todays emails (19 November 2016) that Photo Raw Beta won’t include camera profiles and that these may arrive soon after Christmas. On a Micro 4/3rds Camera, such as Olympus or Panasonic the raw file is processesed in camera, so as to correct all of the lens and camera defects.  The corrections are...

The new Hero5 Black can produced RAW images in a GoPro format based upon Adobe DNG. Adobe products already have the capability to read this. ON1 Photo RAW should have this capability as well.

Canon’s new DPRAW format using Dual Pixel information from cameras such as the 5D Mk IV supposedly allows for fine tuning of focus, bokeh, and flare in post processing. Canon’s Digital Photo Professional raw converter does this. I hope that this will be possible in On1 Photo RAW At the very least, it should be...

I work with Olympus ORI raw files and would love to be able to open these files in ON1 Photo RAW.  Up to now I have been limited to the Olympus viewer but look forward to utilising all the tools in the new ON1 Photo RAW  Bill McIntosh

Phase One Raw file processing.  I use a P25 back on my V System Hasselblad  and I find the Phase One software difficult to use.  will your new software include my Phase One P25 back?

Also I shoot on a Sigma DP-1, first generation, and it still amazes me with the outrageous color clarity and fine detail. The problem is only Sigma makes software that edits the .X3F file format, and it’s really poor. Too slow, clunky & counterintuitive. I have to do basic edits there, then export a HUGE .tif...
