What's included with ON1 Plus?

You own it forever, rent free. That's right, you OWN the software - rent free by joining ON1 Plus. The software will never expire.

ON1 Photo 10 updates - system compatibility and bug fixes

Updates within the same version (10, 10.1, 10.3, etc) will always be free no matter what kind of ON1 customer you are. Updates to address any reported issues or to bring compatibility to newly released technology by third parties such as Microsoft®, Apple®, or Adobe® will be free.

Getting Started videos

Our basic training videos will always be free to any and all ON1 customers regardless if you sign up for ON1 Plus or not. Again, all the videos on www.on1.com/learn will be free for anyone at any time.

Online technical support

ON1 Technical Support is free for all customers regardless if you sign up for ON1 Plus or not. Our support team is available to help answer questions, and troubleshoot. Hours are Monday-Friday 8-5 PST.

Family license pack with five activations

Every ON1 apps includes a license good for activation on 2 computers. With ON1 Plus, you can activate ON1 Photo 10 on up to 5 computers.

Why ON1 Plus?

We are a small company founded on a passion for photography. ON1 Plus is about giving you the Ultimate ON1 experience while offering our customers ongoing value. It's simple, Plus means you get more from ON1. Apps. Coaching. Community.

How does ON1 Plus work?

The software is registered to your ON1 Plus user account and remains available there - FOREVER. You own the software - RENT FREE.

Also prior to purchase, you will create and/or login with your existing ON1 user account. ON1 Plus requires a user account. The user account is where you'll access ON1 Plus Coaching and other Plus benefits. From the ON1 user account, members can view the ON1 Plus benefits, download products, browse exclusive content, view streamed videos on demand, manage memberships, and view order history. At the end of the membership term you are billed for the following year to remain as an active ON1 Plus and continue enjoying your benefits.

Does ON1 Plus require a user account?

Yes. ON1 Plus requires you to create or login to a user account.

How long does my ON1 Plus status last?

One year (365 days). Currently, ON1 Plus is available as an annual membership. We will notify you within seven days of when your renewal membership is due. We will always notify you before any renewal fee is processed.

What if I decide to cancel my ON1 Plus Membership?

You may cancel your Plus membership at any time from your user account. Upon cancellation, your ON1 Plus Benefits will be immediately revoked. Membership cancellation are required to be handled through ON1 Customer Service.

Will I automatically be renewed after the first year?

Yes, ON1 Plus members will automatically be billed after the first 12 months is over. We will send you a notice of the upcoming renewal and amount to be charged before we bill you.


Software

As an ON1 Plus member, do I own the software?

Yes, plain and simple. ON1 Plus includes a perpetual (never-ending) license for ON1 Photo 10. Even if your Plus membership expires, the software license remains yours, forever. The software is yours to have and enjoy forever.

Is the software subscription based?

No, the software license included with ON1 Plus is NOT on a subscription cycle and will not expire. If you decide to let your ON1 Plus membership expire you will keep the software.

Do I need to be online to access my desktop apps?

You will need to be online initially to download the installer. After the download completes an internet connection is not necessary to use the software. Additional content as a member of ON1 Plus will be available to download and store locally for offline play or viewing such as training videos and eBooks.

Can I still purchase ON1 Photo 10 by itself?

Yes, you can still purchase ON1 Photo 10 by itself without signing up for an ON1 Plus Membership.


Coaching

What is coaching anyway?

ON1 Plus photography coaching is a personal, and fun way to improve your photography. It’s unlike anything else. Online video training offers convenience. You get to watch what you want when you want it. Even binge watch it. Download the courses or view them online. Seminars and workshops are great for inspiration and can be personal if you need a question answered. But they’re not very convenient and can be very costly. Personal coaching from ON1 closes that gap. Matt Kloskowski and his team of coaches offer you the foundation needed with video training on core topics (ON1, Lightroom, Photoshop and Landscape/Travel photography right now). Then we give you a private member-only website to ask questions to coaches, get photo critiques, submit photos to be edited by our coaches, participate in live Q&A “ask anything” sessions, and even get a plan of attack on which videos you should watch to get the skills and results you want.

Is the coaching for a beginner or advanced photographer?

This is aimed at someone who is in the beginner to intermediate skill range. You’ll get the most out of it. The best way to know if it’s for you is this: do you have questions relating to ON1, Lightroom, Photoshop or landscape/travel photography. If the answer is yes, then our coaches are experts and they’ll be able to help

Is it for photographers only, or will design topics be covered?

This is for photographers. If you’re a designer, but you work with photos then you’ll definitely get something out of it too.

What is a typical week like on the personal coaching website?

A typical week would look something like you checking in a few times on the main blog of the coaching site. This is where the coaches will post news, times for the monthly “live” events (Q&A and critique sessions, and editing sessions). They’ll also post interesting links, tutorials, and other videos that come with coaching. Once per month there’s going to be a live “ask us anything” Q&A session with one or more of the coaches. Each week you’ll get to submit photos for critique, and the coaches will go through and create a video of it, so everyone can benefit (and if you don’t want to give your name you don’t have to). Those Q&A and critique videos go in to the main video library so you can watch them anytime. There’s also going to be photo challenges with prizes. If you’re looking for something to keep you engaged, this website will do it.

So that's the typical week?

It is. However, one of the best parts of this personal coaching experience is we’re nimble. Some of the best videos we’ve ever done in our coaching programs have come from the group input or questions/topics that came up in the discussions. Whether it’s news about a new camera, or a post processing style, being quick and nimble gives us the opportunity to easily adapt and bring you timely, personal and fun content throughout the year.

Are there specific topics to be talked about each month?

In a way, yes. Matt and the coaches will have new topics to talk about in the discussions each month. But there are more topics to help keep you accountable and driven toward getting better in photography. Of course, the discussion area is open so you can post a question about any topics you’d like. But, in addition to answering questions, the coaches are there to keep you motivated. So if you check in with the coaching website, you’ll get assignments, tasks and other things to keep you moving ahead.

Can I send questions directly to Matt, Hudson, or the other coaches?

Absolutely. The private online site has a way for you to send messages directly without posting to the entire group.

Do I get to download and keep the videos?

Yep! They’re yours to download and keep. Or watch ‘em online. Whenever, wherever. They’re yours.

Will they work on my iPad or tablet too?

Sure will!

Do you recommend watching the videos first, or should I wait?

This one is up to you. Some people think of it like a college class and a textbook. You read the text book (watch one of the video courses), and then go to class to ask questions and discuss (hop online to the personal coaching website and discussion area). Other people will jump in to the discussion area and ask a question. From there, one of the coaches can answer your question and direct you to the right videos to watch to get you more info on the topic you’re interested in.

Can I get ON1 Coaching without being an ON1 Plus member?

No, ON1 Coaching is only available with the purchase of an ON1 Plus membership.


ON1 Plus Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the terms and conditions (Terms) for ON1 Plus. These Terms are between you and ON1, Inc. and/or its affiliates ("ON1.com" or "Us") and govern our respective rights and obligations. Please note that your use of the ON1.com website and Plus membership are also governed by the agreements listed and linked to below, as well as all other applicable terms, conditions, limitations, and requirements on the ON1.com website, all of which (as changed over time) are incorporated into these Terms. If you sign up for a Plus membership, you accept these terms, conditions, limitations and requirements.

ON1.com Privacy Notice

Cancellation

ON1 Plus memberships are billed every 12 months. You may cancel your Plus membership any time through the user account. Memberships are auto renewed every 12 months. If you decide to cancel your Plus membership, you will be required to contact ON1 Customer Service. If you cancel, refunds or account access and/or availability is determined and/or granted by an ON1.com employee. Refunds will be granted if your account has not made any eligible purchases or taken advantage of any ON1 Plus member benefits such as downloadable content or software activation.

Eligible Purchases

They are limited to certain products sold on the ON1.com website. Products eligible for Plus members either as a bonus or paid for will be designated as such on their respective product pages. Special fees, and/or taxes may still apply to eligible purchases. If only some items in your order are eligible for Plus, you will pay applicable charges for the ineligible items.

Limitations

  • We reserve the right to accept or refuse membership to anyone purchasing an ON1 Plus membership.
  • You may not transfer or assign your Plus membership or any Plus membership benefits, including promotional codes, eBooks, presets, or videos for Plus memberships or benefits, except as allowed in these terms.
  • Plus members are not permitted to purchase or distribute any ON1 Plus benefits for the purpose of resale, rental, or sharing using ON1 Plus benefits.
  • Plus members are not allowed to share their login information with anyone.
  • ON1 may choose to add or remove certain Plus membership benefits at any time.

Fees and Renewal

The membership fee for Plus is stated on the Plus web pages on our website. We may offer different membership terms, and the fees associated for different memberships may vary. The Plus membership fee is non-refundable except as set forth in these Terms. Taxes may apply on either or both of the membership fee for Plus.

Credit cards or Paypal are currently the only form of acceptable payment for your ON1 Plus membership. Do not sign up for Plus using a debit card as form of payment.

Credit cards are not stored with any ON1 purchase. Upon renewal, if your credit card is declined for payment of your membership fee, you will have 14 days to provide us with a new credit card or updated Paypal account or your ON1 Plus membership will be canceled. If you provide us with a new or updated card and the transactions is successful within 14 days, your membership renewal period will be based on the original renewal date and not the date of the successful transaction.

UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US BEFORE A CHARGE THAT YOU WANT TO CANCEL OR DO NOT WANT TO AUTO RENEW, YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR PLUS MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONTINUE AND YOU AUTHORIZE US (WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU, UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW) TO COLLECT THE THEN-APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIP FEE AND ANY TAXES, USING ANY CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL ACCOUNT WE HAVE ON RECORD FOR YOU.

Trial Memberships

We will sometimes offer certain groups, partners, and/or customers various trial or promotional memberships, which are subject to these Terms except as otherwise stated in the promotional offers. Such trial members may at any time (through the User Account) choose not to continue or to continue a paid membership at the end of the trial period.

Agreement Changes

We may in our discretion change these Terms, ON1.com's Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy, or any aspect of Plus membership, without a written notice. If any change to these terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason not enforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions. YOUR CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP AFTER WE CHANGE THESE TERMS CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGES. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY CHANGES, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

Termination by ON1

We may terminate your Plus membership at our discretion without notice. If we do, we will offer you a prorated refund based on the number of FULL months remaining in the membership. However, we will not give any refund for termination related to conduct that we determine, in our discretion, violates these Terms or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of the Plus membership, or is harmful to our interests or another user. Our failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with these Terms will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.

Limitation of Liability

IN ADDITION TO OTHER LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS IN ON1.COM'S CONDITIONS OF USE, IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO PLUS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT EXCEED THE LAST ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE YOU PAID. THESE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY WILL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND WILL SURVIVE CANCELLATION OR TERMINATION OF YOUR PLUS MEMBERSHIP. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
