Layers module sometimes feel like a strange citizen. I wonder, if it could be somehow just reintegrated into Effects. Or … it could be upgrade with some more and modern functionality. We are e.g. masking a studio shots, sometimes you want your texture to be skewed. I would like to see the ability to drag any corner of the layer, move it around to change the perspective – now that would be cool :-)

Liz, how did you create the png file “FLOWER”? you mentioned that png files have a see through background but your banner had a black background. Is it possible to create a png text file so that the letters show and the background is invisible?

I would like to know if it is possible to put a text on a picture with out going into PS or some other program.
It would be nice to work in one program instead of switching between LR or PS for applying text.
