In terms of an announcement text, I could see that blending options as well as protection measures are still there. But I can’t see them anywhere in the video. Are Apply To and protection now implemented in terms of the new Mask Level and Window features? Are those options really there, invoked by pressing the gear wheel?

Hi Dan, that’s a wonderful overview of the all of the new features. I noticed that the temperature slider was no longer in degrees K or was the demo image a .jpg? Also, the idea of a mobile app is really killer but I wish the team would have invested the time in a real print engine. It’s one of the top rated items in the RAW project and for Mac users there aren’t a lot of good applications which have print engines integrating soft proofing. I’m still having to ply over to LR – which still requires cataloging – in order to print and the lack of a print module with non-destructive adjustment overlays is still one of the glaring holes in the entire project.

    Hi Dan
    This all looks very good.
Were you hinting that Photo Raw 2018 will install as a new programe and run alongside Photo raw 2017, and Photo 10.5 ?
    Best wishes, David Price.

Clearly, it hasn’t even arrived yet, but I’m excited about the new advanced luminosity tools – alluded to at 2.26secs in this clip.

At first glance it looks as it there will considerable control, almost to Zone Level. If Blake isn’t already in to this, I’ll eat my hat!

(Sorry, I posted this comment to the wrong video, earlier. As always; I find the ON1 website to jump about, stick, freeze, crash Safari – although I now suspect it’s because I’m using an old iPad4.)

In the Overview video, when covering the Develop module, suddenly boxes appear over the photo being worked on, and each box showed in detail the various tools available in the box itself rather than in the long version in the right hand wide window. How did you do that? It happened so quickly on the video I couldn’t tell what option you were clicking on to get those boxes to show up.

    Thank you for your help.
