This month, we have a special feature from a new ON1 Guru specializing in textures, Leanne Cole! These metal textures were all photographed from metal surfaces. Some are from around the streets, while others are the back of metal plates. There are some that are shiny and smooth, and others that have uneven surfaces and are starting to deteriorate.

Hi Everyone! Last month we tried something new, instead of the coaches doing individual critiques we had the community provide critiques for each other. It was a big success and a lot of fun to review all the photos and comments. Over 480 photos were submitted with literally thousands of critiques posted. Everyone that participated deserves a prize but we only have a few awards to hand out. Here are the winners as decided by the ON1 staff.

For those that don’t know me, my name is Nathan Keudell and I wear many hats at ON1 but most notably, I am the ON1 Plus Product Manager. I am responsible for coordinating all the Plus training, communications, and operational tasks involved with your membership. I wouldn’t call myself a coach or professional photographer but I enjoy learning how to take better photos just like you and of course I love editing with ON1 Photo RAW.
Today, I wanted to go back in time and share with you some insider information about the history, current state, and future of ON1 Plus. It’s been over two and half years since we launched ON1 Plus, and it’s been a lot of fun.
