Hey ON1 Plus crew! My name is Colby Brown and I am super excited to return as an ON1 guest coach this month. While I am sure most of you have seen any number of ON1 Videos, ebooks or photo kits I have put together over the years, I am sure we have some fresh faces here as well. For the last 12 years, I have been working as a photographer, photo educator and author in the photo industry, specializing in landscape, travel and wildlife photography.
Here’s a few of my best tips for editing your wildlife photos in ON1 Photo RAW 2018. With the simplicity of using the filters in Develop and Effects, we can create truly memorable and touching images of our friends in the animal kingdom. In a day and age where photos are no longer “a dime a dozen,” but more like “a dime a billion,” you really need something special and unique to pull viewers into your frame. Every choice you make from subject and composition to exposure and camera settings- all should be done for a purpose and with reason. The same holds true with post-production. Join me for this ON1 Inspiration video about visual storytelling and ON1 Photo RAW 2017. Learn some of the tricks that I use for capturing the unique visual story for this image from Death Valley National Park. These steps are easy to follow along with and replicate to create your own unique visual story.
Watch the recording of my live Q&A session with ON1 Plus community. During the presentation, I answer questions about Visual Storytelling, post processing, camera gear and more!
I wanted to conclude this visual storytelling series with a deep dive into my post processing workflow. In this video, you will see exactly how I process three different photos from start to finish to emphasize the story.
Hi ON1 Plus tribe! My name is Colby Brown and I am incredibly excited to be a guest coach this month. Many of you have probably seen some of the ON1 videos I have created over the years, but for those that don’t know me, I am a landscape, travel and humanitarian photographer that has been working in this industry for the last 11 years. I have taught photography for National Geographic, lead photo workshops all over the globe and have worked with some of the biggest companies in both the tech & travel space throughout my career.
